Maserati has officially taken the wraps off its second SUV, the Grecale, which is set to arrive in 2023 with different powertrain options including an all-electric version.

The compact SUV will arrive in three engine options. The base option is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 in mild-hybrid configuration which cranks out 300 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque in GT guise and 330 hp and 332 lb-ft in Modena guise. Then there is the top-of-the-range Trofeo trim which features a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine found in the MC20 supercar, and it produces 530 hp and 457 lb-ft, sufficient enough to help it achieve a 0-62 mph acceleration time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 177 mph.

This will also mark the debut of Maserati’s first-ever all-electric vehicle with a Folgore version that will be powered by a 400-volt, 105-kilowatt-hour battery.

The Italian luxury automaker has already announced its mission to transition into a fully-electric brand by 2030, and all Maserati models will be available in electric versions by 2025.

The Grecale aesthetics combine some elements of the Levante and MC20 and packs into a more compact form. Interior-wise, the vehicle features a digital dashboard, a large 12.3-inch central screen, and a separate 8.8-inch comfort display that acts as a control panel for climate and vehicle settings. It also comes with a Sonus faber audio system with 3D sound and up to 21 speakers.
