Audi has unveiled the RS 6 Avant GT, a car that aims to redefine the benchmarks for high-performance station wagons. This special edition surpasses the power and speed of its predecessors while showcasing exclusive design features and technological advancements.
At the core of the RS 6 Avant GT is a 4.0L V8 biturbo TFSI engine, delivering an impressive 630 hp and 626 lb-ft of torque. This powerhouse enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3.2 seconds, reaching a top speed of 189 mph. The Audi RS 6 Avant GT seamlessly combines outstanding performance with an all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox, ensuring a dynamic driving experience and superior handling.
Distinguished by its design, the RS 6 Avant GT boasts unique elements such as a pass-through roof edge spoiler, 22-inch wheels, and a redesigned diffuser that enhances its sporty aesthetic. The interior of the cabin features high-quality bucket seats with a distinctive color scheme, individual numbering, and an exclusive RS design package. Additionally, the vehicle incorporates advanced materials like carbon fiber for the hood and fenders.
Inspired by the iconic Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO race car and the RS 6 GTO concept crafted by Audi apprentices, the RS 6 Avant GT serves as a fusion of innovation and heritage. Notably, it is being manufactured at the Böllinger Höfe, sharing production space with the Audi R8 and e-tron GT.
The Audi RS 6 Avant GT, priced at €219,355 EUR or approximately $236,000 USD, is anticipated to commence deliveries in the second quarter of 2024. Production is limited to 660 units globally, with around 85 earmarked for the North American market.
