What Aston Martin couldn’t crack with the DBX, has apparently been achieved with the newly introduced DBX707. Yes, the British luxury automaker who is responsible for some of the world’s most powerful vehicles, has just unveiled the world’s most power SUV, yet.
Under the hood of the 2023 Aston Martin DBX707 is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine that cranks out 697 horsepower and 663 pound-feet of torque, with a nine-speed automatic gearbox, which helps it achieve 0-60 mph in as little as 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph. That’s right, when this luxury SUV hits the market in early Q2 2022, it will not only be the fastest, but also the quickest production SUV in the world.
The DBX707 gets carbon ceramic brakes for optimal stopping power, a new electronic limited slip rear differential, and an updated suspension, to aid the car’s dynamics and handling. 22-inch alloy wheels come as standard, to be covered in Pirelli P Zero tires; optional 23-inch rims are available.
Other exterior features include a much more pronounced front grille, new air intakes and brake cooling ducts, all-new daytime running lights, and a revised front splitter design that all work together to boost downforce and turning-in capabilities. A redesigned lip spoiler on the roof wing reduces lift and improves high-speed stability, and a wider twin rear diffuser with a gloss black finish connects to a larger quad exhaust system at the back. There’s also dark satin chrome window surrounds, louvered hood blades, and updated side sills with a gloss black finish.
The interior features Sport seats as standard equipment with 16-way power adjustment, an upgraded driver control area with new drive mode selections, as well as options for the suspension mode, manual gear selection mode, ESP, and the exhaust valve-opening button. Additional interior features include standard front and rear seat heating, dark chrome and Piano Black veneer accents, and three different interior trims.
The 2023 Aston Martin DBX707 is expected to hit dealerships in the middle of 2022 – production will start before the end of the Q1 2022. Starting price is $235,086 USD, which is about 50k more than the regular DBX. Check out the photos below.
