Hitting the dealership to splurge and own a Land Rover Range Rover is already a luxurious experience. With the all-new 2022 Range Rover SV, Land Rover is now offering its customers a distinct and personalized experience with its Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team stating that it can customize the luxury SUV in over 1.6 million ways, allowing for builds that are truly bespoke.
There are customization options for both the exterior and interior, which include options that are relatively new to the vehicle customization world. Customers can now opt for ceramics and sustainable materials. These unique materials can be used in areas like the gear shifter and volume controllers, and are made using injection molding, then sintered at over 2,700 degrees Fahrenheit, and finally polished for an even surface. Ceramics with embossed patterns is also available as an alternative to normal wood or metal accents. This entire process requires ten weeks of work and a final inspection by hand.
Furthermore to the interior, British automaker is offering a number of material and trim options available such as moasic marquetry made out of FSC-certified wenge wood, semi-aniline leathers, sustainable Ultrafabrics, metal-plated exterior trim accents, seven different wheel options, an extended range of SV Bespoke-exclusive paint options, and a Match to Sample paint service that can recreate any exterior color.
With thousands of Range Rovers sold yearly, it is safe to say that your SV model could truly stand out from any other on the road for some time, depending on how creative you get with the design. If you’re not the creative type, there is still nothing to worry about because Land Rover has curated its own design themes that many buyers may find appealing. There are themes available for both the exterior and interior, as well as the whole vehicle, such as the Serenity theme which features Atlas Silver with Corinthian Bronze accents on the exterior, combined with a brown and white color split for the interior.
